This cam works well in the 2200-4600rpm range. It likes heads that flow well, higher compression, and turbos that move a lot of air. You must have performance springs and pushrods to run this cam. Valve reliefs of .080" for 24v and .100" for 12v's are needed. Usually works best on a 99-100 intake centerline.
